Forum Get-together

I have not long just returned from our forum get-together, which was very nice and met some new members.
I am really disappointed by some members not turning up how hard is it to just phone the site to say they was coming, then they could have let me know.or could have let me know via forum.
I had one member turn up at 9:30pm but at least they came!
Yes you could say i am bloody angry.
All i can say i will never be doing my get-togethers that way again.

Sorry I have not been on i have just been poorly I have had another M.S relapes and now I am so sleepy...
I have also deleted my Twitter account as i just could not keep up with running the forum, and twitter, and facebook, and My M.S its all just to much so some thing had to go...

Its my birthday on 25th Aug I am not sure what going to be happening...

Anyway eastenders is on so goodbye for now.

Major adaptions

Major adaptions

I am having to have Major Adaptions to my house, I have a Electric Wheelchair ready but it will not go through any of my doors so we are now going to have every door widened, but of course this means rearranging furniture, The Computer/utility room has had to be turned round as so of the wall is being removed.
Rob has just put back all the over head units in the bedroom back, which i prefer it like it but the main reason is a sliding door will be going where all the wardrobes was stacked.
What worries me is all the brick dust as i have asthma...
We are now awaiting for all the plans to arrive, and awaiting to get all the gas/ elec metres moved out side.
So much work, so i will not really have much time for much more soon.

My M.S have not been to good my jerks have been bad, and a lot of pain in my hip i ask myself will there be a day without any pain!!!

I will update on this as it happens

Last week I had a trip to the hospital to see my Nero Doctor after a 35 min wait I was called in, So in we go into a huge room with this little man sitting behind the desk.
I was left sitting there as he was still going through my note and looking at my pictures of my brain neck and spine...
The doctor shock my hands bit limp shake i must say then the doc show me all the parts that was wrong with me, then he said " Yes you have M.S" well from those words nothing sank in My husband said i asked him 3 times i do not recall doing that...
The Doc put me on stronger medications , Oh what fun...
So if i am not on the forum or on twitter its because i just do not feel well..

I will not go into to much details as a lot of my problem will remain private.

This morning i have got dentist, over the past week my tooth has been hurting every time i eat anything sweet or hot or cold, but this morning i am getting pain so called my dentist up and she got me in today! Wow good work or what...

Rob is still busy with sorting the computer/utility room out the New cupboards are now up and is looking good, but this room will not get done probably for some months yet as i am having major adaptions to my house and this is one room that needs doing.

Oh well back to the forum & then onto Facebook

I have not been on for a little while I have been trying to sort out getting The Caravan Channel Forum on Facebook, (The Caravan Channel) has been on Facebook since last year, but I thought I would add a page to my Facebook account.
I did at first find doing things like sorting my account and all the settings a very confusing, but i think i have got my head around it now!

Time will tell if the page will be any good, but all people have got to do is type in Caravan Channel Forum and i hope they will find me...

Sorry I have not been on for a little while I have been making the most of the sun, I know very sad, but really I don't care!

Do you know what I did I had a moan to the one and only Chris Gosling TV Producer of the Caravan Channel last week I think, any way I told him the forum is so boring and dead, and there nothing to do! OMG Well the next thing he told me he was going to give the forum a plug and do a competition, well bloody hell the forum has gone mad since the show has gone out...
I love it really, but i won't tell Chris that lol.

This week has been so hot i have been sunning myself in the garden and watching Rob in the pool, I wish i could get into the pool with him...
yesterday i had my neighbours round Lee & Rach we had lunch & a BBQ it was so relaxing a good time by all.

Today I am meeting up with Les (carper) my forum mod and friend he has just returned back from France.
Tomorrow (Sat) We have got Chris Gosling come for a few days with the lovely Dot... and later in the eve we are all going for a Chinese meal yummy.

Back from Battle

Wow what a week its been, we stayed at Normans court Caravan Club Site in Battle.
The site was so clean and the staff was friendly. We had Rob parents over for a BBQ and had a jolly good time.
The site was very big and we stopped and chatted to a few people sitting out side there caravans.
We will be going back again with our grand children.

We visited a place called Herstmonceux Castle in Hailsham

We also went into Eastbourne for a look around and I went onto the sea front, very clean all i needed was a ice cream!

Water leak

We had another problem on our caravan we came back from seeing our parents, and Rob noticed some water coming from the caravan, Oh No!!! The panic on my face thinking the worse.
Rob had to remove the seating area and had a look to see how far the water had travelled, lucky it had only gone near the hot water tank, rob had a good look and the cold water inlet valve had gone!
So the next thing was to look on the Internet where the nearest Caravan shop was Called Hitch-N-Pitch we went in and the greeting we got was so nice, we told the Man named Luke what our problem was he took Rob around to the part area, but alas it was not there so he went to the counter and another lady help, she got there spare parts book out and found our tank and was able to name the part and give us the correct part the lady really did know here parts.
I would recommend this shop any time you are in Dorset and you can drive in with you Caravan/Moterhome and they will come out and have a look for you.

Trip to Poole in Dorset

We left home from Kent about 9:30 and on the M3 We was travelling along and we heard a bang, and Rob had to pull over on the hard shoulder as we had a blow out on our Caravan Tyre! OMG I was scared, Rob said he saw the wheel trim go fly off and he saw the Caravan lower!!!

Rob got out had a look at the wheel then went off to the Emergency service phone as we need some protection as i am disabled and there was know where for me to go but to stay in the car, After a bit Rob returned back he said the phone just kept ringing and ringing, so Rob had no choice but to start working on the wheel i was so worried for his safety and mine.

I was watching via the wing mirror as I saw the Police turn up Rob was having trouble getting the spare carriage from under the caravan off as he has stopped on a slight hill so the police and him after a lot of pulling and shoving manged to get it out, in the mean time i was on the phone to my mum and she just kept me calm, thanks mum xxx

We was told Fleet services was 10 miles along the road, so we went on there and stopped and made sure the tyre pressure was all OK!

We had some lunch and I helped Rob to cool down and change his clothes he was in a mess.

We finally got to the New Forest Caravan club site at 3pm OMG what a Journey

And top the it all off i was sitting out side with my mobile online and some orrible bird pooed on my phone! :-)

In Bed

Today i am in bed with a bad leg from my hip to below my knee, i think its due to my muscle loss from months of not walking, the pain has got worse over the past few days.
I will contact my pyhiscotherpy lady and get her to have a look.

I am not planning to do much work on the forum...

I wonder what our Chris Gosling is doing i think i will give him a call later.

I don't know why the forum is sooooooooooo slow maybe everyone has gone away or nobody has nothing to say, i find that hard to believe!
I just wish i could get more people to post it does not have to be all about caravans we do have a section where they can chat about any subject.

We have a live special coming up with Chris Gosling Soon its amazing how many people have questions for him.

The spring photo competition is nearly over only 9 days left but there must only be one winner...

Today has all been about shopping, its my nephew birthday today so we went to Chatham to look for a shirt for him Hayden is 3yrs we managed to find one.

I also got some jeans for the caravanning Holiday to Dorset, which I can not wait to go 8 days..

Oh dear its a rush today as I have my Daughter coming down from Yorkshire, so we need to do a food shop, and then go and get Nathans Birthday present which I was supposed to have got the other day.

I have just done some admin on the forum which should keep it going along nicely.

I would like a laptop we have been looking on the web at the prices but god why on earth do they need to be so high in prices!
I play games on the web, and on my computer so what kind of laptop should i buy?

Its a a shame to say I am back home , but alas that's life!
On our return to our house the close was full off cars oh what a nightmare we had to park the caravan half on our neighbours drive and wait until a few cars have gone, the caravan is now back on the drive.

Its amazing how much stuff you have to to when you come back from a holiday.

Tomorrow I have got my parents coming for a visit then its of to our local town to go and buy my grandson Nathan birthday present.
My Daughter is coming to see me from Yorkshire on Friday, oh so much to do, as my Daughter is flying to USA on Monday, and we hope to go away again to Dorset on 31st May oh we might go earlier only time will tell.
I guess the main factor will be the weather!

Back to the Caravan Channel forum, I am also have trouble getting onto twitter I wonder why?

High winds & a Horrible Night

What a terrible night i had Rob bought Memory foam mattress to see if i would sleep any better in the caravan, well the answer was NO! oh the pain my back is in this morning is unbelievable god it hurts!
Let me explain a little i suffer from Fibromyla which is a muscle disease, so trying to sleep is hell for me, hence why he bought it for me.
The Beds in the caravan are the ones you have to pull out the slats and erect. We normally use air beds but my husband gets fed up with having to blow them up every time we are away, but i have told him its air beds or i go home and yes he is in the dog house with me, as i told him it would not work!
The Airbeds just support me and take the pressure of my back....

We have borrowed a porch awning for Chris to see if it would work better on this caravan, but this morning Rob had to take it down due to very high winds here.
A man came over to give him a hand, which was very kind off him.

The Sun is trying to raise its head here but the winds are still up, Rob has gone off into town to go and get me a couple of post cards.

Now i must go as i need to go onto Face books Farm Town Game and harvest my crops lol

This morning i have awoken to a sleepy feeling in the bottom of me heels i have been up for a hour and a half i am preying that my numbness is not coming back again! Only time will tell....

On a good and positive note we are off to Whitstable in Kent, I am about to go and have my shower and get ready to leave for about 11:am.
The fun part for us is getting out the Close cars every where oh what fun LoL

Today i got up later than normal i must have needed the sleep!
This morning i did more admin on the caravan channel forum, i found a good post about 15 top sites in France which was very handy to know.

I am getting ready for our Caravan trip away, we are going on Sunday morning, i think most of the stuff is in & this time Rob has remembered to put the aquarol water handle in this time.
I still got to put some more clothes in lol yes its a woman thing. lol

We be returning on Wednesday .

The Reason for this trip is when we was last away at the Newark Show Ground at the Caravan and Motorhome show, The winds was up and a huge gust got under our awning and throw it over the top of the roof of our caravan, well our awning was a right off and we had a few dents on the caravan but nothing major thank god!
We are now awaiting the insurance money to buy a another awning...
We are going to use Chris Goslings Porch awning but we have to see if it will fit.
I need a awning so i can charge my disability scooter up over night.

Time to go i need a coffee.

Good Morning to everyone!

Last i did sleep really well, and my head pain has gone down this morning Yippee!

We are going to sava centre to get my bag of pills oh yummy Not!

The Weather is very over cast and the winds are up please let the sun come out, if it stays the way it is then the pressure goes down to low and gives me pain in my muscles as i fibromyalgia a muscle disease.

I started on the forum 3 years ago now i started off being the person who kept asking all sorts of silly questions, and then MR Chris Gosling ask if any one wanted to be a Mod so i said yes, i will tell you all a little secret i did not have a clue what a Mod was so i went onto the web and looked it up. LOL
From there i became a Global Mod and then on to Forum Admin WOW id come a long way!

Poorly

My head has been getting the pain back in the back of my head i am on tablets for the pain and to stop the spasms but today the spasms have been coming back! Rob my hubby told me to turn of the computer and took me to bed and i feel asleep until my daughter phoned the house and woke me up.
I am feeling a bit better but still have some pain in my head.
I do wish the time would fly so i get to see my neurology doctor to see if i have MS or not.
but now i am more scared if i have not got M.S what is wrong with me...

My First Rally 2007

This is where My caravanning really took off . We Joined The Caravan Channel Forum in 2007 and went on our first every rally and met the Famous Chris Gosling For readers who do not know who Chris is a TV Producer and has his own air time on Sky 166 on Monday Wednesday, Friday, & Sunday The Caravan Channel program is Excellent. I met some lovely people at the rally who have now become good friends to me.
I had the best time of my life.

Computer is ill

Our Main Computer is ill again!
Rob my husband switched it on it froze so he rebooted it and nothing, we have 2 hard drives in the main computer and we have had nothing but trouble with the new hard drive since we got the computer.
I have ask a friend of mine to come and have a look and i will ask him to remove it the new hard drive.
GGGGGGGGRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate computers but love them when there running OK.

Good Morning all, Last night we went to bed very early as we was shattered from a busy weekend, I got woke up by the dog asking Rob to go out the time was 5:15am so as you can imagine it was like a convaor belt loo trip lol lol then it was a case of back to sleep to waking to Rob standing there with all my pills oh what a nightmare but real only joking.
I have been on the forum well i must say its very busy and our spring fair trip away is doing very well indeed.
Time for a coffee i think!

Been to the Chinese at Dockside with Our Friends Chris & Dot then went into Dockside shopping to look at the new Rangers shops which has not long opened it reminds me of Wilko's.
I got Connie my dog a toy little pig, which when i got back home she took it off the chair and has been playing with it since.
